Privacy Collection Form

  1. The Good Shepherd Catholic School collects personal information, including sensitive information about pupils and parents or guardians and during the course of a pupil’s enrolment at the School. The primary purpose of collecting this information is to enable the School to provide schooling for your son / daughter.
  2. Some of the information that is collected is to satisfy the School’s legal obligations, particularly to enable the School to discharge its duty of care.

Privacy Notification 

Money

Children should not be attending school with money other than for School Banking with a completed form or for canteen on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

It is unwise for children to be responsible for large sums of money and therefore more than $20 should never be in the possession of a child.

 

Vehicle Movement

 The School speed limit is 5km/h. This is for the safety of all children.

Bicycles and scooters are not to be ridden on the school site as they pose a risk to the children and rider.

All person’s entering our school site do so by agreeing to comply with the speed limit and Parking Policy.

Altone Road and Morley Drive Supervised Crosswalks

A crosswalk attendant is provided on Altone Road and Morley Drive.

For safety reasons children must cross at the crosswalks provided. Bicycles must be walked and not ridden across.

 

Current Family Details

At the time of enrolment parents provide the School with current contact details to facilitate communication and to ensure the welfare of the child is encouraged.

The School needs to be able to contact parents and care givers at all times but particularly if the child is sick or in times of emergency.

Therefore it is a condition of enrolment at Good Shepherd Catholic School that parents maintain current contact details with the School at all times.

The contact details required are the current email and residential address, telephone numbers, other contact numbers and place of work.

The information may be provided to the School via a letter or by email.

 

Lost Property

Lost property will NOT be kept in the Office.  Articles found will be sent to the lost property boxes located at the Uniform Shop and Canteen.  Ensure ALL items are clearly labelled as Unmarked items cannot be traced.
