Complaints and Dispute Policy

While working in partnership and open communication is the best way to resolve issues and by starting at the school level either with the class teacher or Principal the School Education Act (WA) 1999 requires an educational system to have a means by which disputes and complaints about the provision of education are resolved.  Good Shepherd Catholic School therefore supports and actively promotes the CECWA Disuptes and Complaints Resolution Policy.

The Catholic school, as part of the Body of Christ (1 Cor 12) is required to work harmoniously to build community. The distinctive nature of the Catholic school is guaranteed by all members of the community respecting the rights and responsibilities of each other (CS 73).
